Most states have requirements about how much hunter orange must be worn while hunting. For reference, the front of a jacket is about 700 square inches, and so is the back. Sleeves are about 200 square inches front and the back. So a jacket with sleeves is about 1800 square inches total front and back.

Our calculations show that the See3D jacket is about 30% orange. This means that the jacket is about 540 square inches total orange on front and back. That amounts to over 270 square inches is visible from any one direction.

States have various combinations of area, percentage or whether the safety orange should be solid. Based on our interpretation of the state’s rules, these are the states where the SEE3D Camo meets requirements.
